Did you ever want to or get the chance to play the game Space Paranoids that was featured in the movie Tron?

In honor of Tron Legacy's release date latter this year they sent the fictional character from the movie Flynn to Wonder Con to announce the games release online.  Watch the video above.

I hope it is more then a gimmick.  Imagine sitting there iPad in hand playing Space Paranoids.  Just don't forget the mini game where we get to face off with the discs.

This trailer was debut at Comic Con and it is stunning.  I like how the world of Tron is in a more life like graphic quality with out loosing some of the fun nostalgic look that the original movie has.  I love the new cycles and how the field they race on now has levels moving from 2d (racing right, left, forward and backward) to 3d (adding and up and down).   Watch the Video above.

I love watching Tron.  It''s a great film, fun premise and an interesting look at the graphic quality of games in the 80's... the tanks still make me giggle.

The idea of  doing another Tron was not distasteful to me because game graphics have moved into a more realistic style and a remake could feature that evolution of gaming.  My hope is that the movie does not loose the great story from the original Tron.

Story: Sam Flynn a the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years.  Father and son Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous. Review of:  Chuck: Chuck Versus The Lethal Weapon

Overall Rating: 8

After MI-6 Agent Cole Barker was captured by Fulcrum, Chuck must go under 24 hour watch and can not move in with Morgan.  Now he must figure out how to break the bad news to Morgan.  Meanwhile he pursues one of Fulcrum's scientists, in hopes of learning how to get the Intersect out of his head.  Watch the episode streaming online above.

I really enjoy the Get Smart feel that this show has with chuck as this adorable bumbling success of an agent.  They also permeated the show with so many geek and speculative fiction fandom references which has lent the show such a familiar feel.  One game I love to play is picking out all of those references in each show.

• Robert Picardo: I love that he was in this episode


• The MI-6 Agent Cole Barker kept cracking me up as he reminded me of Eric Idle’s character in National Lampoon's European Vacation.  He would get injured and be so cordial about it and wave it off as nothing more than a mere inconvenience


• really sweet and neat ending that furthers the story.

Daft Punk have signed on to write the score to Joseph Kosinski’s new Tron movie (/Film)

Well that is at least one thing to be excited about.  The fan made trailer (above) for the original movie using Daft Punk music will give you a taste for what the film might be like.  At least the music should be good.
